Dr. Caroline Crocker
Scientist, biology professor, author, speaker, and grandmother.

My Story
I am a scientist by training, with a doctorate in immunopharmacology, a master’s degree in medical microbiology, and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and virology.
My work life has been interesting and varied. Over the past twenty years, I have worked as a biology professor, the CEO of a start-up company, the founder and president of a non-profit, a private tutor, a technical writer, a research scientist, a consultant, and a communications expert.
Now I’m retired–kind of. I write books, do book tours, interact with readers, and all the other jobs necessary to be an author. As such, I’m a member of SCBWI, VWC, and WNBA, all writer’s groups.
I am married and have four grown children and eight grandchildren. I love gardening, playing the piano, writing, and going for long walks in the forest. But I especially like to write truth that reads like fiction.
